A world in which everyone is welcome, that is the goal of the Special Olympics association. Amberg also has this goal at heart and therefore supports athletes with intellectual disabilities. The companies Amberg Engineering, Amberg Technologies and VersuchsStollen Hagerbach, which belong to the Amberg Group, contribute as donors to Special Olympics Switzerland in order that it can continue to offer its sustainable activities.

Special Olympics was founded in 1968 and is a globally active sports movement. It offers adapted trainings and regional, national and international competitions for people with intellectual disabilities.
