30 year anniversary – Sabine von Büren

We wish our site manager Sabine von Büren all the best for her 30th anniversary at Amberg Engineering!

Sabine joined us on 1 February 1993 as a design engineer. Between 1999 and 2006, she made her first contribution to the success of the century project Alptransit Gotthard Base Tunnel as site manager at the construction site in Faido.
From 2006 to 2012, she worked as a site manager on various construction sites until she returned to the Gotthard Base Tunnel section in Faido from 2012 to 2016.

After completion of this work on the large construction site, she successfully demonstrated her many years of construction management experience on numerous smaller construction sites, mainly in the field of building maintenance.

Sabine is currently finishing the Bommerstein Tunnel renovation project and moving to Graubünden. At the new construction site SiSto Isla Bella, she presented the tunnel patron saint Saint Barbara to the construction site on 26 January 2023 as a local construction manager for the starting ceremony.
