A fresh approach to continuing professional education in the construction industry
With the new joint OST-VSH platform, the OST – Ostschweizer Fachhochschule and the Hagerbach Test Gallery (VSH) are pooling their expertise for the first time and launching a completely new range of training courses for the
construction industry. The aim of the partnership is to offer practical, forward-looking training programmes that specifically prepare professionals for the current and future challenges facing the industry.

Construction in a time of change
The construction industry is undergoing a transformation: a shortage of skilled workers, the climate crisis, new standards and legal requirements, the circular economy and economic changes are presenting companies and professionals with new challenges. This is precisely where the new OST-VSH programme comes in.
The training courses focus on those areas where the construction industry needs to rethink its approach:

- In-house production control (WPK) for concrete

The courses take place at practical learning venues: Ostschweizer Fachhochschule in Rapperswil and the Hagerbach Test Gallery, a unique setting for applied research, testing and professional development.
