In accordance with the resource scheduling for 2020/2021, we are offering BIM internships:


BIM INTERNSHIP AT AMBERG ENGINEERING

Positions currently available:
Regular internship (3-6 months) in Regensdorf, Switzerland, in the tunneling and refurbishment business units.

We are looking for: Final year students/students from the 5th/6th semester onwards

Field of study / specialisation: Ideally, advanced studies in civil engineering, informatics, architecture or comparable subjects. Knowledge of Revit/Dynamo, Rhino/Grasshoper, Civil 3D is advantageous. Good knowledge of IT and interest in using existing software optimally, enhancing it as required, and testing new software/workflows. Interest in contributing to work on international large-scale projects. 

Areas of responsibility:  Creating complex 3D models for civil engineering and underground construction at all stages of planning, including 4D. Developing the basic elements for BIM processes. Creating parametrised models, automating modelling steps and planning or developing corresponding standards.

Areas of assignment: Project design of underground structures (tunnels, shafts, caverns, etc.) for rail and road traffic, infrastructure, hydroelectric power plants and so on.

Overview of current projects (as of September 2018):

  • Brussels metro (Belgium) 
  • Brenner Base Tunnel (Austria)
  • Stockholm metro (Sweden) 
  • Geneva underground station (Switzerland)

Requirements: Flexibility, as you will work in different project teams and on various projects and tasks. Team work competence and fast learning.

Work permit: For a three-month internship, Amberg Engineering AG will organise the registration procedure. For an internship of more than three months this is the responsibility of the intern, supported by Amberg Engineering AG.
